Classy is a very sweet
14 hh pony mare. She came to us in March 2007 with a medical
condition known as roaring. Flaps in her airway that allowed air
to flow into her lungs were not working. She underwent a very
successful surgery at UF, a total trachestomy.

Classy was
adopted out in the Spring of 2008. Her new human was a very happy
3-year-old. Sadly, due to a change in life circumstances, Classy
is back at the rescue.
Classy would make a very nice pony for any child. She has a lot of
patience and loves kids. She's also a very pretty mover!
Classy's trach prevents her from going swimming but that is really her
only limitation. Her trach area needs to be wiped clean daily.
If any dirt or flies get in it, she blows them out.
