Fans of Barbaro and other volunteers got together on June 28th to hold
at work day at Beauty's Haven.
Some electric fencing was put up by the men and the 3rd row of boards
around the arena was put up by the ladies. A truck load of sand
had been delivered and holes were filled in that were washed away by
rains. Even lots and lots of weeds got pulled!
We were rained out by thunderstorms for
a couple of hours but it gave us time to eat
some lunch and get to know others. It
really was a great day!
Just a few more boards need to be added to the
arena corners and then Momma Sue and the babies
will be able to play there on overcast days.
Friends and family - horses and humans - it
doesn't get much better then this!
