I really just want to say thank you for
rescuing the mare and little filly that has the crooked nose. I myself
had rescued a 3 year old mare with the same problem, and everyone said
i was crazy for doing it because they said she was ugly and would
never amount to nothing except a waste of money. I'm glad to know that
someone else out there beside my family and I can accept them for the
way they are and love them anyways. My mare was abused when i got her
and they hid her away from the breeding farm she was born on because
they didnt want anyone knowing they had a foal come out like that. I
loved her with all my heart and i wouldnt have traded her for the
world. I really hope the mare and filly make it and do ok because
sometimes the ones that need a little extra push and a little more
love then others are the best horses in the world. Please if there is
anything my family and i can do to help, PLEASE let us know.
Thanks, and I wish ya'll the BEST of luck.
Kaitlyn

I learn something new everyday. What a
wonderful organization and family. I had the honor to speak to a
member of the family today concerning some much needed security for
this facility. My family and I have decided to make sure they receive
what they need. If you can support thier effort to protect these
animals....Please do.
Sincerely,
Edward & Patricia Dermody and family

DId you report the abuse to the Department
of Agriculture? They might be able to help.
What about putting flyers in the feed stores about the abuse and maybe
getting a jack russell terrior dog? The small dogs are very barky and
so quick that it would be hard for someone to catch them. How is Sunny
today? Pat

I read an article about Sunny, and it
breaks my heart that this poor animal has been abused so badly. I hope
that they find the person/persons that has done this, andare put in
jail. I do some volunteer work at a local Humane Society, and I will
see if there is a dog up to the task of protecting the horses. I wish
Sunny well, and hope there is a happy future.

I learned about Sunny from FoxNews.com. I'm
sending heartfelt condolences regarding the attack. I viewed the video
version of your story. Your description of Sunny reminds me of my
adopted mare Candy. She came to me from a local rescue at 6 months
old. She is now 6 years old. She is very sweet and trusting. I hope
your local authorities catch those who did this terrible act. My dogs
(German Shepherd and Blue Heeler) love my horses and bark when they
hear something suspicious. I'm told that barking alone can deter an
unwanted visitor. God bless the work you do.
Kind Regards,
Diane

Theresa it was great meeting you and the
caring folks there at the rescue today.
I fell in love with poor Sundance. He is a very sweet horse and I pray
that those fools that hurt him get caught soon and no one else is
injuried. I tried emailing you but I am getting a message that your
mail box is full. Thanks Pat

theresa, this is a great idea!!
it's nice to read how many people realize how great you and your
family are and what a blessing to the horses.
you do have a "special" connection with horses, so very
present at the auction saturday. no matter the state of the horse when
you were at their stall, they new you were GOOD and were not afraid!
bless you, bob, katie and josh!!

most of our time was spent with gentleman,
he was so gentle and loving . He followed my girls around , hes been
through so much , he is happy, healthy and very well fed. i cant
imagine why or how any one could hurt him or any horse. Gman seems so
compfortable and content to be there. he has the run of the place ,he
is the greeter, and hes proud of it , he truly is a beautiful animal.

We had the pleasure of visitng Theresa and
family at Beautys Haven today. i feel so blessed to meet someone like
theresa. We visited five to six places in a week . None of the places
took such excellant care of their horses and stable. how many people
give chiropractic to horses, they truly care. we left feeling so good
about the visit , those horses are so lucky to be there . i wish she
could take more ,all of the left behind, broken ,beaten and neglected
babies out there with noone to help them .theresa needs to be
everywhere.
